Transformation/Shifting

When transforming into animals they take on their characteristics. The longer they stay transformed, the more animal like they become.

Can speak telepathically to others while transformed.

Two ways to transform:

• Talismans - a spell is used to craft a wooden talisman which the Familiar can use to shift. Limited characteristics.

• Touch - once a Familiar has shifted through touch of an animal they no longer need aid to shift again and can change appearance at will.

Unlimited shifting database as they build up through transformations.

Shift takes seconds.

Animal companions who are shadow summoned obey the Familiar’s orders as they are not individual beings in their own right but a shadow form of the animal so it has no thought of it’s own.
